Poorkkalam has completed its first schedule in several places of tamilnadu like Karaikudi, Thiruchendur, Rameshwaram, Dhanushkodi, Madurai and Tenkasi.

The second schedule was shot in major parts of Chennai, Pondichery and Ramoji Film City [Hyderabad] from 13th October to 26 November. The third schedule was shot in various parts of THAILAND on Jan 2009.

So, Poorkkalam decided to strike the Kollywood Screens by May 2009 and hopes to prove the best in the strongest competition.
